Privacy policy
This policy explains how Sea Beach Resort ("we") handles your personal data when you use the Sea Beach Resort app. We decide how your data is used (we are the data controller). The app runs on the Hotella platform, which processes the data on our behalf and on our instructions.
What we collect
- Your account: the mobile number or email address you sign in with, the name you enter and your language.
- Your stays with us: booking and room details from our reservation system, linked to your account through your mobile number or email address, or through your room number and last name.
- What you do in the app: requests, ratings and comments, room-service orders, table and spa bookings, wake-up calls, late check-out requests, and your messages to the hotel with the replies.
- Your phone: a notification token so we can send you updates, the app version and whether it is an iPhone or an Android phone.
We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not track your location and we do not sell your data.
Why we use it
- To sign you in and keep your account safe (a one-time code by WhatsApp or email).
- To provide the services you ask for before and during your stay.
- To send you updates about your requests, orders and bookings.
- To answer your messages. An automated assistant may answer first; our staff can read the conversation and reply.
- To improve our service, using statistics that do not identify you.
- To send you offers by message, only if you agree. You can stop at any time.
Who sees it
Our staff who handle your requests, and the Hotella platform with the providers it uses for hosting, email, WhatsApp messages (Meta) and notifications (Google Firebase and Apple). Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Your account and its notifications until you delete the account. A sign-in on a phone expires after 180 days. Our stay records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Change your name and language in the app (Account).
- Turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
- Delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete my account) or at https://hotella.app/t/sea-beach/app/delete-account?locale=en. This removes your sign-in, your phones and your notifications; our own stay records are kept as the law requires.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to correct or erase it, and complain to your data protection authority.
Children
The app is meant for hotel guests aged 16 and over.
